Cignet , the specialist property investment and development company, is hosting the inaugural St George’s celebrity charity golf and dinner event at Stoke Park in aid of Help for Heroes and ABF The Soldier’s Charity.
The event will take place on Wednesday 21st April and promises to be a day with a difference with a few surprises along the way, including the ‘shot gun start’ signalled by an army tank, highlighting the military theme.
Cignet will be joined by sporting legends and other celebrities including Sir Matthew Pinsent, Daley Thompson, DJ Spoony, Simon Shaw, Denise Lewis, Ossie Ardiles, Mark Foster, Will Greenwood, Chris Hollins, Martin Corry, Kenny Logan, Ray Clemence, Jason Leonard and the legendary Jimmy Tarbuck.
Cignet is also delighted to have secured personal backing for the event from Bryn Parry, founder of Help For Heroes, and Sir David Richards, Chief of the General Staff (in support of ABF The Soldiers Charity). In addition to these causes, Cignet is also supporting a grassroots sports charity, Sports Fund.
Guy Rees, Partner of Cignet, comments: “Cignet is proud to be organising this event as we have personal links to the charities involved via our partners and advisors. We are amazed at the support that has been offered and look forward to making this a day to remember.”
Places for the golf and also the dinner are filling up fast, so please get in touch if you would like to take part or support the event in some way. Golfers will be in Four Ball teams including one celebrity per team and Jeremy Kavanagh, the Golf Pro for the day, will be on hand to offer advice.
