TREVELLYAN DEVELOPMENTS CREATES NEW UNITS AT BRIDGE TRADE & INDUSTRIAL PARK, CAMBERLEY, SURREY

LOCAL BUSINESSES TO BENEFIT AS EXISTING CAMBERLEY INDUSTRIAL SCHEME IS SPLIT TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SMALL UNITS

Following a series of industrial property lettings at Bridge Trade & Industrial Park, Bridge Road in Camberley, Trevellyan Developments Limited, has commenced on the subdivision of one of estate’s larger buildings to provide eight smaller units – suitable for local businesses looking for cost effective accommodation.

Trevellyan Developments, advised by Wadham & Isherwood and Clare & Co, have already let five units within the complex since the turn of the year. The newly created industrial units will range in size from around 629 sq ft (58 sq m) up to approximately 2,619 sq ft (243 sq m). The traditional style units will be suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial uses, including motor trade and new ventures will be welcomed.

Lance Trevellyan, of Trevellyan Developments says “The refurbishment of the estate, provides traditional style, economical industrial properties and we have deliberately offered flexible terms to assist small and medium sized businesses and individual entrepreneurs. The success of this approach and the relative scarcity of small industrial properties of this nature in the Blackwater Valley has convinced us to subdivide one of the larger units to satisfy the clear demand for small low cost units”.

Wadham & Isherwood’s Geoff Reeve adds “The refurbishment of the Bridge Trade & Industrial Park has been a great success bringing new employment opportunities to the area and has encouraged a number of start up businesses. The hands on approach to management by the owner removing the responsibility for repair from occupiers has proved very popular. The provision of these additional small units will help to satisfy the demand in the area from existing businesses and it is hoped encourage further start up companies and we already have very serious interest in four of the units.”
