The Property Search Index, compiled by Revolution Public Relations, analyses the levels of search engine enquiries, made in the UK using Google, for commercial property related keywords and phrases.
The Property Search Index (PSI) provides an indication of market sentiment within the commercial property market sector by tracking the volume of property related searches carried out online by users on Google.
The level of online searches undertaken on a week-by-week basis for a selection of the most popular and most commonly used commercial property search terms recorded and published by Google. The weekly total is expressed as a percentage of the peak volume of these searches over a twelve month period. These volumes are analysed and used to calculate a monthly index figure that reveals overall search trends and patterns in the UK's commercial property market.
